The Mascoutah Khoury League will hold player registrations for the 2009 season at the Leu Civic Center on Sat. Feb. 7th and Sat. Feb. 14th from 9am - 1pm. Umpires and concession stand workers may also sign up on these dates.

A fundraising benefit dinner will be held for the Leu Civic Center at St. John UCC. from 4-7 pm on Friday Feb. 13, 2009. A spaghetti dinner with all the trimmings will be served. Cost: $8 Adults and $4 for 12 and under.

Zion Lutheran will hold their 8th Annual Heart-2-Heart Dinner Auction on Sat. Feb.14 at Roland Barkau Memorial Golf Course in Okawville. Doors open at 5 pm with dinner at 5:30 pm. Tickets are $45 per couple and $25 each. Tickets must be purchased by Sun. Feb. 8th.

St. Martin of Tours Lutheran Church in Mascoutah will be hosting "Oktoberfest" on Saturday Sept. 26. Events include a car show from 11am to 2 pm, German food served from 11am to 6pm, a martial arts demonstration, bounce house for kids, and an evening polka mass at 6pm.

Girl Scout Troop #377 will hold a Breakfast Benefit, hosted by the Mascoutah Moose Lodge, on Sunday Sept. 27 from 8am to 1 pm. The Lodge is located at 111 N. 2nd St. in Mascoutah. Breakfast includes pancakes, scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, sausage, biscuits & gravy, milk, juice and coffee. Cost is: Adults $8, Children 4-10 $4 and children under 3 are free.

The Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 7682 is hosting a card party and white elephant sale on Tuesday Sept. 29 at the Post Home, 620 Donaphan St. There will be table and attendance prizes as you play the game of your choice. Donation is $2.50. Sandwiches and drinks are available from 6-8 pm.

A silent auction will be held from 5:30 pm - 9:00 pm with dinner taking place from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm. An oral auction will follow after dinner. Today's windup of the Fall Book Sale will take place from 10:00 am - 7:00 pm at the Mascoutah Public Library. All books that can be put into a shopping bag will sell for just $2 per bag.

The Mascoutah Rotary Club is sponsoring a Trivia Night on Friday Feb. 5, 2010 at 7pm at the Mascoutah American Legion. Entry fee for an 8 person team is 100 per table. There will be door prizes, a 50/50 raffle and a silent auction. Persons are fee to bring their own snacks and beverages will be available. No coolers are allowed.
