Seating and Concessions open a half-hour before show times. Doors will open for "New Moon" at 6:15 pm . The library will sell drinks and snacks, but feel free to bring your own. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult for all movies. Due to the PG-13 rating for "New Moon" and "The Blind Side", anyone under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.

"MEET THE AUTHOR"
Raimonds Zvirbulis, a former principal at Mascoutah Middle School, will be at the Mascoutah Public Library on Monday March 15th at 7pm to give a presentation highlighting his adventures kayaking on the Yukon River. The evening will include a slideshow presentation and book signing. Mr. Zvirbulis' book "Paddle 'Till Dark" will be available for purchase for $29. All proceeds will go to a charity in Nepal.

SENIOR CITIZEN FINANCIAL WORKSHOP
Hosted by the Mascoutah Public Library (618) 566-2562
Tuesday March 23: 6-8 pm & Thursday March 25: 1-3 pm
The St. Clair County Office on Aging will present a workshop for senior citizens dealing with senior finances. Guest speaker Joe RoosEvans is donating his time and will cover many topics including: The benefits and differences of wills and trusts; How the 2010 tax update affects your social security and IRA's. You can get your questions answered about retirement, nursing home spend downs, and securing your assets. A $10 donation is suggested but is not required to attend. Each attendee will receive a binder full of budget tools and life planning worksheets.

The City of Mascoutah and the Mascoutah Chamber of Commerce/Main Street Mascoutah are sponsoring this opportunity to come and get acquainted with your Mascoutah shop owners and restaurants.
